I prefer a brown mascara. I decided to go for it and I am so glad I did. I was impressed right off the bat with the tube. It is a weighty tube. Feels good in my hand. The gold color screams LUXURY. The formula is wet so you are going to need to apply it slowly. One coat gives you a natural look. You get definition, length, and volume. It does a good job holding a curl. When you apply two coats, this is when the magic happens . Just WOW! The first I used LASH PROTOTYPE MASCARA, I wasn’t feeling well. I ended up going to sleep. When I woke up, I had no smudging just a tiny bit of flaking. The second time I wore the mascara, I wore it all day. My lashes held a curl. No flaking. Taking the mascara off is a breeze. I used a gentle oil based cleanser. I didn’t lose any lashes. No irritation. I didn’t find the black shade too harsh. You end up with look-at-me lashes. This mascara is formulated with a vegan, beeswax alternative and tilia tomentosa bud extract that leaves your lashes softer. This mascara is worth every penny! LTKbeauty
