Bright and colourful for a day a couple weeks ago that didn't go as expected, as I found out on the radio on the school run that morning that Brisbane was going into lockdown (just before Easter). After lots of confusion we pushed on with the day - I was still able to help in my son's classroom that morning, and the after school event he had been preparing for could still go ahead thanks to hard work from the teachers, and my youngest son and I joined the queues to panic stock up at the library 🤣 school holidays starting early while work continued meant I needed some new books to entertain the kids!
