Here are the 5 things I needed to change to keep my hair its best. Linking all the products related to this list below ⬇️

(1) Brush your hair: I used to dread brushing my hair because I get so many tangles and I didn’t want to pull out my hair. Avoiding it made sense until I understood that meaningful brushing is the core of scalp health as it increases circulation and increase blood flow keeps your strands strong and happy. I consequently created a product —Sea Glass—that makes brushing a breeze and my relationship with this timeless ritual has never been better.
(2) Your pillowcase really matters: I try to purchase only natural fibers and I used to think that sleeping on cotton was enough to keep my hair healthy. I’ve learned that silk is infinitely better to reduce stressing your stresses while leaving them moisturized and frizz free. Bonus…it’s also better for the skin on your face!
(3) Less supplements, not more: Although I take a spectrum of supplements to help maintain my overall health, I’ve learned that more is not necessarily better because your body may not metabolizing them all. I now try to just take what I need—including supplements that contribute to hair health— while avoiding excess.
(4) More frequent washing: Everybody is different on this one, but I found that my hair feels the most balanced and healthy when I wash it every other day or every two days. Going long stretches without washing hair can contribute to scalp build up, which can squelch hair growth.
(5) A little low heat is just fine: I used to think that all heat was bad for my hair but now discovered that some occasional blow dries and low heat styling tool options like hot rollers and this Aire360 can smooth the cuticle and enhance shine.
