✨ Hot take ✨ as an esthetician, traditional manicures with UV lights stressed me out 💕

UVA rays expose your hands and nail beds to unnecessary skin damage, so I switched to press-ons a few years ago 💅

If UV-cured manis are your fave, a little protection goes a long way, apply sunscreen on your hands or get some fingerless gloves 🖤 (I wish these were standard everywhere!)

Tips for perfect press-ons
🤍 Trim nails shorter than the press-ons
🤍 Make sure they cover nail only, not skin
🤍 Lay them out by size first for a smoother process

How to apply
1️⃣ Push back cuticles & buff nail bed
2️⃣ Wipe nails with alcohol
3️⃣ Apply a dot of adhesive to press-on and natural nail
4️⃣ Align & press for 30 sec
5️⃣ Avoid water for 2 hrs (overnight is best)

Removal
☁️ Gently wiggle a floss pick under the nail after a shower, then wash, dry & reuse ♻️
