Instead of jeans (I wear them most days) a denim maxi skirt works right through winter. Bare legs when it’s warm, boots when you need them. I linked a similar skirt and my shoes on my LTK. I know!!! I NEVER do that. 🤣 Crazy times

I’ve tried on a bunch of denim and I’m happy to say the straight leg jeans that I find fit the best and were the most flattering on your behind are also the least expensive! They fit true to size, I’m wearing my usual size 6. This style comes in several other washes.

Combat boots are THE trendy look this year. Your Dr. Martens from the 90s are on point. You can also wear this with white sneakers, black ankle boots, chelsea boots (pointed toe over rounded or almond), neutral suede booties, black hiker lace up boots. What do you have? Wear that. What are you missing? Consider options.

We have a celiac kid at our house so rather than messing with English muffins we use a metal cookie cutter to trim gf bread to fit. So yummy! Switch it up with egg whites, different cheese, ham or bacon.

I started posting outfits on IG in 2018. I was inspired by YouTube videos about style and wanted to improve my look and stay current and effortless.

My outfits were sometimes fussy and I left the house confident but half way through the day felt like I had made a fashion error!!

I don’t have it all figured out BUT I know what’s fool proof. I know how to avoid those, crap I left the house and now I don’t love this moments AND I have waaaaay fewer purchase regrets.

1) Keep it simple. Add wow pieces later once you’ve got the basics nailed.
•
2) Take your time when choosing basics. For me it’s v-neck long line tees, for you it might be cropped crewnecks, or camisoles, or high end denim.
•
3) Try on lots. Sit with things at home with the tags on.
•
4) TAKE PHOTOS OF YOURSELF IN CLOTHES!
•
5) Don’t agonize over the purchase regrets. It’ll happen. Consign them, return them, donate them, and move on. You’re not stupid. You’re learning.

We’re getting to that time of year where sales are on the horizon but items are sold out. This flannel comes in classic and oversized. I’m wearing the classic in a tall and I sized up to a large. It’s still in stock in the oversized version which is a bit wider.

Old Navy jeggings have no fly or button and sit flat along the front. The mid-rise is so comfortable and some days I just want pants that pull on. I’m wearing the wash medium worn. They come in several lengths so be sure check if they’re ankle length or regular (tall and petite too).

They now offer a built-in warm version that is brushed inside, meaning a soft flannel finish. I haven’t tried them but it sounds like a nice winter option.

If you’re frustrated with making lunches or trying to eat better yourself it can be as eay as the right container. I cleaned the fridge out last night and was so annoyed at all of the produce that had gone bad. I’ve been looking for snacks and finding I’m itching prepped or easy to grab.

I ordered these from Amazon Canada last night and they arrived the next day. There’s a 4 pack and a 7 pack. Basically the same. The 7 pack is better value, the containers are dark grey, in the 4 pack they’re clear. I immediately washed them and assembled 2 snack boxes for myself.

I’ve used this lint and pull remover for two years. It comes with my a storage bag and replacement blades. I love the plug in feature so batteries aren’t always slowing it down.

The comb is another very inexpensive option. I’ve used it on costs and sweaters. The electric one works pretty quickly! I find it helps to move it along slowly in circles, bask and forth, and lifting it up and down now and then to get all of the pills.

I’ve been an Old Navy Rockstar skinny jeans girl for a few years. Last week I ordered 2 pairs of these American Eagle jeans and they are a keeper for me. Theyre higher waisted and come in 13 different washes, both distressed and not.

Not everyone is a savvy online shopper and these are online only. AEO doesn’t offer free returns by mail, you have to pay the postage so I typically order online and then return in the store.

When you make an online account all of your orders show up when you login. When it’s time to return you don’t have to keep emails and paper, just log into your account and show the the order on your phone.

My exact boots are in stock at Le Chateau. Beware of their return policy, you MUST have the order confirmation email, showing the order in your account isn’t enough (this is SUCH a pain!). Yes, I’ve heard Le Chateau is going out of business, watch for sales. Everything is always true to size unless in indicate otherwise.

It all fits true to size, for tall women I tried the coat in a medium tall but the sleeves were too long. I’m happy with the regular length. See my stories on IG for a try on with the rust red version, it’s also lovely.

These boots are fab, very tight shaft, they slip a bit, or below my knee but just a bit. I’m not sure hoe I’d get them on over jeans. It’s easier if you food the shaft down, pull them on, and then roll the rest of the boot shaft up. Then your pants don’t ride up either.

This is my perfect v-neck, lightweight, knit sweater. It comes in 5 colours including this ivory (almost white). I had the tags on these Zara faux leather culottes forever. They’re a keeper. Soft, drapey faux leather, not stiff plastic feel and they come in black and brown. Have you tried faux leather in unexpected places?? Everything is my usual size.
