This Halloween season I’m bringing the Southern Gothic charm aesthetic to life. You all had pretty good guesses during last week’s preview! This year’s Halloween home decor is inspired by my Anne Rice obsession, my trip to New Orleans’ and love for its haunted architecture, and my daughter’s first Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland. From moody candlesticks to creepy greenery, I wanted our space to feel both spooky and chic. It’s only my second year styling for Halloween, but it’s quickly become a favorite (after Christmas of course)! I love to mix spooky season vibes with timeless home decor inspiration that fits seamlessly into our home. This Halloween season, I’ll be showing you how I blend big box store gems, thrifted treasures, and chic DIYs with a touch of spooky magic to create an elegant Southern Gothic Halloween aesthetic. Follow along for more haunted home decor inspiration and Halloween decorating ideas! Are you going all out with Halloween decorations this year, or keeping it simple with pumpkins?
