🇪🇸 Madrid 🇪🇸 A guide to 36 hours in Madrid (spoiler: it’s not enough time!):

Do:
• Walk the city - We stayed in the city center and we were able to see so much by just walking around. Salamanca was my favorite area - it was a lot more quiet than where we were staying and has great shopping
• Visit Bernabeu Stadium aka where Real Madrid plays - the kids wanted to see it in person and get soccer kits there. Tip - there is a Starbucks in the stadium where you can see the entire field if you don’t want to spend time touring the stadium.
• Retiro Park - We spent an entire afternoon here. It is such a beautiful park - we walked, had lunch, rented boats, saw a magic show and just enjoyed a leisurely afternoon.
• Prado - buy your tickets early! We were planning to visit after Retiro Park, but did not pre buy tickets and it was sold out!

Eat:
• Gioelia- The best gelato down the street from our hotel
• Bel Mondo - Italian restaurant in Salamanca. A fun atmosphere with kids.
• Jurucha - We loved this tapas bar and could have spent the rest of the evening there!
• Dani - this is the rooftop restaurant at @fsmadrid and is a must visit for the best views, food & drinks and design. It was the perfect way to end our trip!

Alhambra - a must see and truly breathtaking
Wander around the maze of tiny streets in the Albayzín distric
Eat
bodega Casteña - at the base of Granada and wonderful tapas
Bar Aixa - near the top of the Albayzín district and the perfect spot to stop after the long walk up

🌊 Marbella 🌊 A moment for the stunning @marbellaclubh. The design is stunning. The best fish we’ve ever had. A day pass for the kids club where the kids did not want to leave! 💃 Sevilla 💃 We flew into Madrid and took the fast train to Sevilla for two nights. We fit in as much as we could in the short amount of time and loved this city. It’s vibrant, walkable and the perfect city with kids. Save for your trip to Seville! #travel #seville #spain #europe

Stay
• @hotelcolongm - located in a quiet neighborhood and still walkable to all the sights. The rooftop pool was a plus!

To do
•Walk everywhere! There are so many beautiful streets, colorful buildings and so much to see by walking.
•The kids loved the hotel pool
• The first night we were there we went to @setasdesevilla to kill time before our 9 pm dinner reservation 🥱
• We only had one full day in Seville, so we hopped on a carriage ride outside the cathedral and saw a lot of sites. It was also a good time for Ford to nap 😉
•Real Alcázar is a must and buy your tickets in advance
• Visit Plaza de España - our carriage ride took us through this beautiful plaza
• Shop at @populart - the most incredible antique ceramics
• On our second night, we booked a Flamenco show before our dinner reservation. It was one hour and so much fun for all!

Eat
• Bolas - ice cream
• El Burladero - tapas
• Churrus y Patatas - churros are a breakfast food in Seville and this one down the street was amazing! Freshly made while you wait and they close at noon
• L’Oca Giuliva - the kids were in the mood for pasta and pizza and we found this adorable restaurant near Real Alcázar
• La Casa de María - located in Triana near where we went to the Flamenco - known for the Paella 🤤
