Hello darlings! How are you? I went on a quick grocery run and decided to stop and enjoy the sun on my skin. I’m battling a cold; I forgot just how miserable a cold can be. 😩🤧 I’ve been down for the last few days so it was good to get out and enjoy the fresh air, even if just on an errand. I sat for a few minutes to enjoy my quaint little downtown area, feel the breeze coming in from the brewing rain storm, and just be. There’s something to be said for slow days and quiet moments. In the last two years I’ve learned to take nothing for granted; there is a lesson in every breath and I’m grateful for each and every one. The checkout clerk at Sprouts asked me about my hat. I’ve had it so many years I couldn’t begin to recall where I purchased it. The dress is another very old piece but I remember picking it up at TJMaxx many moons ago. That’s the thing about great materials and classic pieces, they stand the test of time. That’s speaks to where I am with my wardrobe. I’m sure you’ve noticed I haven’t been doing a lot of shopping. I’m taking my time and being very selective because I want my wardrobe to be filled with pieces that I will love five years from now as much as I did at the time of purchase. No more impulse buys that end up in a donation box with the original tags attached. In every area of my life, I’m moving with intention and purpose. That is part of walking in gratitude, giving meaning to each step and taking nothing for granted. Especially the slow days and quiet moments. 💋 Sandals by Cosy Island: https://cosyisland.co/toribattieste48 Sunglasses Spotlight by Lorvae ID necklaces was a gift from @the_nappinista 😘 Tennis bracelet and studs by Read Your Heart Jewelry Discount code TORI15: https://www.readyourheart.com/pages/bfcm-sale?utm_source=youtube&utm_campaign=kol LTKOver40 LTKSeasonal LTKdayinmylife
