My mind has been so scattered this week and last that I couldn’t even bring myself to start work yesterday. I did some grocery shopping, laundry, cleaned out the pantry, scrubbed the baseboards 🙃...ANYTHING to avoid opening my computer to start another Monday. I just couldn’t bring myself to start a new week and I felt guilty ALL DAY for feeling unmotivated.⁣⁣⁣

But why? WHY THE GUILT?⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Because in all actuality, we don’t NEED to motivated right now, we NEED to stay healthy and sane right now! ⁣⁣⁣

So focus on this: ⁣⁣⁣

Does driving around town for 30 minutes a day make you feel free + happy? Then drive, baby DRIVE!⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Does binge watching Vanderpump Rules helps you cope with reality? Then do it, darling!⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Does playing “hooky” for the day help to relieve your anxiety? ⁣⁣⁣
Then call your boss and tell him you’re not coming in. (😉 bad quarantine joke)⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
But really...do what you can!⁣⁣
Make space for the unexpected. ⁣⁣
Feed into your motivation when you feel it. ⁣⁣⁣
And never feel bad for taking a day for yourself... ⁣⁣⁣
