I have been loving the color story and the great silhouettes from ELOQUII this season. Color is my jam, and these are bringing me life.

Stay alert for more shades of orange, green and purple this season. Some will be in washed pastels, some in more saturated brights.

Bold color not your thing? Not a problem. You can always add a little spice with your accessories - nails, handbags, purses — the pieces furthest away from your body or face.

Which look is your fave?

I didn’t want to believe the hype, but I tried it and this dryer is the truth.

The diffuser had my curls poppin’ even on day 5. They retained their structure and were frizz free for a lot longer than usual.

And the comb attachment, the real reason I bought this dryer, did not disappoint. My blow out took FOUR MINUTES.
Need I say more?

This is a special edition color and attachment set, so grab it while you can

How adorable is this cropped sweater? I love lavender in the winter - it’s great pop of color without being too saturated when I want a break from jewel tones. Paired with an easy pull on plaid pants and sneakers and I’m ready to rock!

You’re going to see some repeat brands here, friends. When it comes to eyeshadow, Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona have the market cornered, IMO. The formulas are so good that even if you’re a nervous Nellie with shadow application, your skills will get a boost.

For warm shadow lovers, the ND Bronze palette is 🔥. If cool times are your jam, try the Glam palette.

For a more affordable option, I like the Huda Beauty quads. Tons of shades, like these chocolate brown neutrals.

Mother Pat’s blushes are lovely, but the real stunner this year for me has been Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty line. The blushes may look overwhelming in the tube, but they blend for a really natural lit-from-within finish. Lucky and Love are my go to shades. Try the Fenty 125 brush — excellent for a foolproof cream formula finish.

For the low maintenance gal, Ilia’s multisticks remain a favorite of mine. Swipe them on eyes, lips and cheeks for a cohesive, natural look

Y’all are *always* asking me for recommendations on the best barely-there foundations and tinted moisturizers.

I’ve linked a few here that are lightweight and give coverage without feeling like you’ve got a full face on.

The YSL NU product is, well, new… And I’m really impressed. Great wear and I don’t want to claw my face off at the end of the day.

For concealer, my HG status is Pat McGrath. I’ve tried everything and I come back to this over and over. I will dab this under eyes and on places where I have redness and skip foundation or tinted moisturizer altogether most days. It’s that good.

Other surprise hits this season:
- JLo Beauty glow — I know, really? Yes. Somehow gives an even, brightening effect alone or under foundation.
- Lancôme setting powder is the truth. So underrated! Great under eyes and all over. Doesn’t settle into fine lines.
- Gucci Bronzer. Subtle, so it’s great in winter. The packaging is luxe and gives me rich auntie vibes. #hereforit

Check out some of my all time faves for an easy and effective day and nighttime skincare routine.

Standouts: PC Niacinamide — I can’t exactly say what it does but it is overnight magic for my skin!

Fenty Skin Body Butter is somehow perfectly moisturizing but never greasy.

Farmacy Honeymoon Glow - alternate this with the Alpha H glycolic a couple times a week and #getthatglow.

Cheering you and your woke up like this routine on!

Y'all didn’t think that the crop tops were going away just because it’s fall, did you? I love a crop top even in crisper weather, I just style it differently.

Here are some really easy tips to help you take your summer clothing into the new season:

Instead of just the crop top and the skirt with a sandal, Add a jacket or a shacket, and switch out the sandals for boots. That is it, you are fall ready.

All of these pieces are from #nordstrom and the majority are from their Open Edit line.

Check out my last post for deets on that look!

Btw, all these pieces are Open Edit. I’m obsessed with their pieces lately. Sizes through 4X and really reasonable price points.

Have you tried them? Check out my next post for styling inspo with this look and boots and a jacket for fall 🍁🍁🍁

Loving the print mixing here.

Rule of thumb: Keep one color in common between the prints and the look will feel cohesive. Black and white appear in the top snd the skirt so the look is interesting but doesn’t clash.

Are you a print and pattern mixing fan?

Like a fun wearable floral sleeping bag. Love 💕

Easing into (still hot outside) fall means cute sneakers instead of sandals, and a great oversized denim trucker jacket for when temps dip.

A trusty black crop top never steers me wrong, and if I’m going cropped on top you know I’m going high waisted on bottom, and these cute printed shorts give me fall colors and an easy weekend brunch vibe.

Stuck on how to transition your wardrobe between seasons?

A cropped top and high waisted bottoms are a great way to flatter your figure while you swap in fall accessories and layers for summer ones.

#LTKsalealert #LTKstyletip #LTKunder50
Lug soled boots are everywhere this season. Truth be told, this is a staple, classic style that never really went away.

The 90s-are-back trends that call up Doc Martens vibes are definitely influencing how many we’re seeing now though.

One thing I love about this style is how versatile it is. You can rock these in a super polished almost equestrian way like the ones with the single gold buckle (all boots linked below), or you can get your Reality Bites on and grunge it up.

I prefer somewhere in the middle, like the brown suede pair, but you do you, boo!

Wear these bad boys with a relaxed tee shirt or oversized button down and Jean shorts now, and then rock them with cozy sweaters half-tucked into straight leg jeans later.

These selections are all from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so you’ll want to check out these #nsale picks before the sale ends on August 7th.

My favorite style is less than $60, and that’s a run don’t walk price for boots my friend!

Happy shopping!

#LTKunder100 #LTKsalealert #LTKstyletip
I’ll admit… I was a reluctant convert to straight leg jeans styles.

As a late adopter official skinny jeans who then came to love them dearly, I saw no reason to mess with what was already working.

But, I was loving the more relaxed style of straight leg jeans that I saw out in the world.

Real talk: As someone who is bigger on the bottom (I carry my proportions in my hips and thighs), I had total PTSD from the 90s era stiff denim jeans years. Boyfriend jeans were HORRIBLE on my figure. I looked boxy and they were always too low and didn’t cover my butt.

Friends, a new day in straight leg jeans has dawned! Now we’ve got stretch in all the right places, and high waist styles that are truly flattering.

Check out my selections from the #NSALE here. I’ve included sizes 0-34 because every body deserves a great fitting pair of jeans. Styles start under $50, so check them out before the sale ends on August 7th!

It’s fall, y’all! Ok, not really, but in the fashion world fall has hit the racks. I’ve gathered the best of fall’s most wearable trends to get ahead of now, and how to wear them now and later, like these cozy layers.

We’re in the final days of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale so check out my picks linked here ( one of them is only $19!!).

And don’t forget to swipe through my LTK feed for two more can’t-miss collages of wearable fall trends.

Style Fam, I have been living in high waisted Jean shorts all summer. They’ve got the perfect amount of stretch and they’re an awesome length — I feel appropriately covered but still saucy.
My faves are on sale for only $12 😱
Run don’t walk to snag these. Your summer outfits will thank you.
I’ve linked more styles below and some cute shoes to cap off your best effortless summer shorts looks. Viva la summer!

Figuring out how to get dressed right now feels hard. I get it. After rotating different colored joggers with coordinating sweatshirts and tees for over a year, the idea of creating actual looks feels impossible. But it isn’t. Your style muscle, like any other muscle, just needs a little exercise. Here’s a way for you to start off simple and work that part of your brain: 1 tank top, 4 ways.

You can take a simple tank top, in a bright, feel good color—and dress it up or down, depending on how you pair it.

1. Pair your tank top with a pair of wide leg pants or culottes with an elastic waistband. This way, you’re dressed in actual clothing, but without worrying about things that need to be buttoned and zipped. Feeling really adventurous? Add a wedge in a fun print to give you height and make your legs look longer. This look is perfect for lunch or dinner with friends.
2. Pair your tank top with another summer staple: the denim short. Then pair a pastel, like this mint jacket, with your brightly colored tank, for instant visual interest. This look is perfect for an outdoor event, or meeting up with friends in the park.
3. Pair your tank with a maxi skirt in a coordinating bright color for a fun color blocking effect. Then finish with neutral slides and carry a neutral sweater for an evening chill. This look is vacation ready! The fabrics are light and will travel well.
4. And finally, if you’re simply not ready to leave the land of joggers just yet, do feel free to cautiously dip your toe into getting dressed by pairing your tank with joggers. Make it a slightly more fitted pair, and top the look with a pastel jacket or hooded sweatshirt. This is a great outfit for errands or coffee runs.
This super versatile tank is only $5! Buy a couple of colors - one bold and one neutral and it’ll give a totally different vibe.

Make sure to click through each linked product for lots of color options, too!

Makeup optional skin is always the goal in my book. Check out some of my tried and true faves that keep my skin smooth, healthy and glowing.

I’ve got you covered for cleanser, toner, serums, moisturizers and sunscreen.

And don’t sleep on the Edible Beauty Goddess Serum — I’ve repurchased 3 times and won’t be without 🤭

One of my favorite moments so far this spring has been a crop top moment. I’m not talking the early 2000s Genie in a Bottle look, but a grown up, elevated version of a crop top that pairs perfectly with a high waisted pant, which is still very on trend. Crop tops + high rise bottoms means you’re exposing what, for most of us, is a comparatively narrower part of the body (in other words, they sit at your natural waist). You can also look for “longline” crop top styles that come a few inches below the bust, especially if you have a longer torso, to keep your proportions in line. Then you’re also showing just a sliver of skin and not exposing your full midsection.

Today’s crop top is much more versatile than you think. Here’s how can you wear the the look throughout the rest of spring and summer:

Elevated Athletic
If you’re looking to take the transition out of your house, and out of your joggers, a little more slowly and cautiously, this Elevated Athletic look is for you. Pair your crop top with your joggers and sneakers, then add a top layer like a satin bomber.

Daytime Denim
For those that are ready to give up their elastic waists for pants that actually zip and button, pair your top with straight leg jeans, another one of spring’s hottest trends. Top with a denim jacket in a different wash, slide on a flat sandal, and you’re ready for errands or lunch with a friend.

Overdue Night Out
If getting dressed up and going out for actual dinner or drinks is your pseudo-post pandemic dream, your crop top will go perfectly with something like a faux leather pant and a brightly colored shacket or thin spring blazer. This is also your heels moment, if you’re totally over your flats and sneakers.

Park & Picnic Perfect
In this not-quite-post pandemic summer lots will be happening outdoors. Get park or picnic ready when you pair your crop top with a high waisted denim short and sandals. Finish the look with a light shacket or a fun printed duster or kimono. http://liketk.it/3fVYp #liketkit @liketoknow.it
As things open back up, I dipped my (vaccinated) toes in the gorgeous waters of Puerto Rico. Super safe, crystal clear water, and the perfect opportunity to try some new swimsuits! I’ve linked this one and a few more for you to check out.

Head to my @brandeisnicole You Tube page for a video on how to pick the best suit 👙 for your body shape.

Almost all of these suits are under $30!

I picked up 4 from Cupshe and they were all true to size.

Happy beach time, Fam 🏖
And remember: Every body is a summer body. You are more than your size — suit up and be fabulous.

I have a confession. It took me forever to get on the skinny jeans train. Back in the day, we were all wearing trouser legs, bootcuts, palazzo pants y’all. Palazzo pants! We lovvvved a big ole leg.

Skinny jeans? Nah. You weren’t going to catch me out like that. But slowly, sure enough I came around. When they came out in high-rise versions, that was a game changer. I also didn’t go full on skinnies - straighter leg skinnies suited my body type better.

Now I’ve come full circle. Skinny jeans follow the natural contours of your body. When that happens, it’s easier to style the other zones of your body because you’re working with what you already have.

I go live every Friday on YouTube and in my Facebook group, and this past Friday someone asked a great question: Who are bootcut jeans for?

We know they’re back, but not every trend is flattering on every body. Head over to my 🔗 in bio and check out my last episode. I give all the details on which body shapes should steer clear of bootcuts, and who they’re great on, plus more style and fit answers to your most pressing questions.

A couple of tips to keep your shape flattered if you’re trying this trend:
⭐️ Wear a heel. Even a low block heel will give you just enough lift to get your legs back (bootcuts can make your legs appear shorter).

⭐️ Consider tucking in a tighter fitting top, yes, even if your stomach is visible. (Bodies have stomachs; promise it’s ok to see them.) Keep the layers closest to you fitted so you’ve got one long line to work with.

⭐️ Wear a longer cardigan as your overlayer/completer piece. A shacket (shirt jacket) will work well, too, to keep the look relaxed but not sloppy.

Have you gotten back into bootcuts this season? What are your thoughts?

I’ve linked several options in my Shop My Instagram link in my bio, including plus size options and pull on varieties. Yessss comfort. http://liketk.it/36f9Y #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKstyletip

Buying a house seemed like the perfect excuse to get a robot vacuum. And being the researcher I am, I spent 4 hours on Black Friday reading up on these bad boys and crowdsourcing feedback from real life folks.

The winner? The Roborock S6 Pure, or really any Roborock.

When I first heard Roborock, I was like Robo Who?? I’d heard of Roomba and Shark, but turns out, Roborock has a ton of intelligent technology at a great price point.

The criteria list that won me over:
✅ “Intelligent mapping” - this means it makes a perimeter, learns your house and then goes in an orderly fashion to color in the lines so to speak and pick up dirt.
The thought of something just bouncing around my house hoping to pick up dirt would drive me bonkers.

✅ No go zones - You can tell it a room or a section of the house is off limits. You can also use the app to tell it to go somewhere specific and “spot clean”. Honestly it’s hard to get the pin right where you want it but she’s good at sussing out dirt

✅ Off-road capabilities. Ok, not really, but I’ve watched her (I named her Sheila) navigate unwieldy raised end table ledges and manage to free herself without help. I don’t have to worry she’s stuck somewhere in the house not doing her work lol

Follow me on @liketoknow.it (liketoknowit.com/brandeisnicole) or by heading to my bio for my round up of other great contenders at different price points (a lot are up to $240 off through my link) and one that even has dog 💩radar. I said what I said.

Do you have a robot vacuum? Looking to get one? What are you looking for in a robot vac?

House shoes. That is the stage of life we have entered, folks.

I bought a house (my first!). Closed the Friday before Thanksgiving, and moved the day before Thanksgiving, so almost all of my shopping was totally new-house-influenced.

The floors downstairs are a lovely luxury vinyl plank (all the rage with the blogging set).

Guess what? They make my feet and my back hurt.

Do I sound EXACTLY like my grandmother when I say that? Yes, yes I do.

She's forever going on about how the hardwood floors are hard and how she needs supportive footwear *inside* the house.

Now I get it.

I'm fairly certain that most of aging is actually just having things your elders have said to you for years start to click. There's no new information 😂

So what did I do on Black Friday?

Spent an inordinate amount of time researching washer/dryer sets (LG front-loader for the win!), robot vacuums (DM me for the tea) and typing these actual words into search engines: "orthopedic supportive slippers".

Yes, we've come to that. And I'm not mad at it.

2020: The year when I needed to find supportive house shoes. Amazing!

A friend recommended the ones I’m now sporting and obsessed with from Amazon. She also knew enough to forewarn me about how hideous they look. But hey, no more LVP flooring back pain. Totally worth it. I’m at an age where just looking at the bed sideways results in a pinched nerve, so I gotta look out for these things 😂

P.s. Your friendly resident stylist just gave you permission to have ugly house shoes. Listen, we get one body, and our feet are everything! I have a lot to say about what you wear outside of your house (when outside was still a thing) and those should be comfortable too, but there are some hard limits on making sure they're also stylish.

House shoes, though? Knock yourself out.

I’ve linked a roundup of house shoes, including a pair of fuzzy, glam numbers from Madewell, and this super cozy #joylab fleece in my @liketoknow.it profile. Head to the link in my bio to check them out.

Are you a house shoe person? What did you indulge in for Black Friday? Tell me about your purchases, especially anything wild and crazy like supportive footwear 😉.

I put on real pants! And nobody got hurt 😂
These pull on beauties are @target for a cool 20 bucks. Such an easy way to stay comfortable and give yourself a style boost. I chose this brown plaid because it’s an easy fall neutral and I like darker colors on my bottom half. But there’s light grey plaid, solids, you name it.
Pro tip: If you’re balancing out a bigger top half with your bust or broad shoulders, lighter on the bottom will give you some visual oomph. Click the Shop My Instagram link in my bio for details on this look, or screenshot this photo and find me on the @liketoknow.it app. #liketkit http://liketk.it/307px
Are you wearing real pants these days?
Target is having a major sale! I snagged this super cute sweater dress and it’s super comfy. Not itchy, and not clingy either. I’m typically a size 10-12 and I’m in a Medium.
Shop this look in my bio or the @liketoknow.it app. I’ve also pinned a ton more styles I recommend you check out during the sale. It ends today, but even if you miss it some of these babies are too good to pass up.

Are you a sweater dress wearer? Tell me everything.

Loving this easy dress from @whowhatwear
Dresses are my new go-tos - I can be Zoom ready in a flash and stay comfortable all day. Transition this into fall with cute neutrals so you don’t have to worry about coordinating.
Try out a great pair of on trend snakeskin boots like these, or keep it low key and casual with a black slip on sneaker.
Which look is more you? Boots or sneakers?
Shop this look by heading to the link in my bio or taking a screenshot of this if you have the @liketoknow.it app. #liketkit http://liketk.it/2Y5Ue
I’m living in cozies lately? How about you?
This entire look head to toe is from @targetstyle. I love how easy it is to mix and match pieces, stay comfortable, and look great. Pro tip: With a high neck sweatshirt, either wear your hair up or do a longer earring to give your face some height in opposition to that super high neckline. Voilà!

I got all dolled up on Friday for two reasons:

1) It’s Festive Friday! This is a little quarantine routine I’ve been doing where every Friday I put on actual clothes and do my makeup. I look forward to it and it’s been bring me a little joy.

2) I went live on Facebook spilling alllll the tea about my picks for the Sephora VIB Spring Savings Sale. My fave concealer, exfoliator worth its weight in #liquidgold, and the palettes I’ve been loving. Plus, can we say FENTY y’all. Those cream blushes had Brandeis written all over them.

I’ve recently joined up with Reward Style to give you instantly shoppable links to what I’m loving.

Screenshot this pic to get shoppable product details with the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app or follow me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app to get the product details for this look and others.

I’ve also got an IGTV loading soon with all my recs. Check my stories to see when it’s up.
