When I set out to join Beautycounter, I truly had no idea what I was doing. I had a background in broadcast journalism and not the slightest concept of what it took to build my own business, but the mission of betterbeauty spoke to me. I posted this picture, because today happens to be Beautycounter’s 8th birthday and when I think about celebrations, I can’t help, but to think about my own family’s milestones! These people are my life. My why. The reason I show up everyday, the reason I fight for more health protective laws. I want to be the example. I don’t have to do the important work, I choose to.
