Any time we drive south, we try to bookend our trip with a stay @theumstead! It’s truly one of our favorite hotels we’ve stayed in! Our typical routine is to order room service for dinner & walk the grounds a bit if it’s not too late, then we take the rest of the night to relax. In the morning, we get coffee, get dressed, & sit out on the veranda for breakfast (I always get the açaí bowl!) before heading on our way. We’ve let the kids swim before, too, but we’ve never tried the spa! Thinking that may have to change on our next trip 😊
