Day 2: NC -> Charleston, SC We had breakfast at The Umstead (the açaí bowl is my favorite) & made our way down to Charleston where we checked into the Emeline. It was late afternoon when we got there so we got settled & went out to see what we could still do. Within 5 minutes the kids were asking to do a carriage tour & we took the last seats in the next tour with no wait! It’s an hour long but they loved it After that, we went in search of tacos for dinner… there’s not much all 4 of us agree on but Mexican food is one of them 🌮. Then we got dessert from Kaminsky’s, a bakery/ice cream shop we remembered from our first trip to Charleston, to go & brought it back to the room where we ate it in our pajamas while watching Big City Greens 😂 (anyone else’s kids love that show, too?)
