I'm sharing the exact secrets I tell my photography clients to show up looking stylish and confident. These are my style tips and swaps that will elevate your family photos and create family photos you LOVE this fall.

➞ Swap denim for colored pants, chinos or corduroy pants
 ➞ Add style and depth with layers — think a button-down shirt under a sweater or a chocolate brown suede jacket over a textured shirt
 ➞ Mix in rich textures like suede or ribbed knits. Texture adds so much to the photos and works great when you are going for a monochromatic look or neutrals
 ➞ Skip the Nikes and opt for loafers, boots or leather sneakers
 ➞ Stick to timeless fall tones or neutrals: navy, camel, olive, stone, cream, rust

➞ Fit is everything. Slim, clean lines > baggy or boxy.
