In 2012, I was working in advertising, sitting in a cubicle, and realizing it wasn’t what I thought it would be. It felt empty. I had this itch—this pull—to chase the thing that truly lit me up: photography. I loved taking pictures. Capturing moments, telling stories, creating art—it made me feel alive. I didn’t know much, but I thought, maybe I could create a tiny little business out of it. My goal was simple: replace my advertising salary with photography. So I started small. I picked up my camera, said yes to opportunities that scared me, and just kept going. Little by little, the dream I was chasing started chasing me back. Fast forward 13 years, and that tiny dream has grown into something I couldn’t have imagined. My business has 4x’d that original goal, and I wake up every day so grateful I took that first step. Now, here I am—doing what I love every single day. And you know what? They’re right: If you do what you love, you’ll never feel like you work. 💛 If you’ve got a dream but don’t know where to start, start anyway. You don’t need to have it all figured out right now. The next step will reveal itself once you take the first one. What’s the dream you’ve been waiting to chase? ✨ 📷 @rachaelosbornphoto chaseyourdreams dowhatyoulove creativejourney photographer photographymentor photographyeducator photographyeducation photographerlife naplesphotographer creativentrepreneur girlbosslife
