I’ve found a new pair of high waisted jeans that I’m loving right now. A classic 5-pocket jean featuring a high waist, zip fly with button and wide, straight legs. They come in more than a dozen shades I’m wearing a size 12 (40). They do have elastane and I haven’t worn them out yet to know how much they give but the 12 was a comfortable waist for sitting and eating.
