🍁Fall Tablescape Inspiration!🍁

I loved pulling together this traditional fall tablescape using these beautiful Nutmeg linens from the Glen Check Collection by @solinohome! They have such a wide selection of patterns for every occasion in a range of options including tablecloths, napkins, runners, placemats, and more!

Here are a few steps to make your fall or holiday tablescape easy!

1. Start with a base. You can add color or go neutral with a high quality table cloth and a contrasting runner. If you prefer to let your bare table show, use just a runner or layer two runners together! This may trigger some people :) but I love giving my runners some folds for a little bit of dimension!

2. Add placemats or chargers: I used woven chargers here for a different texture, but you can use another contrasting linen or match what you've already got...there is no wrong answer here.

3. Add in your dinnerware. I love using two tones and this year I added in some fun fall themed ramekins for soups or appetizers.

4. Don't forget your linen napkins! They're just so much nicer than paper :)

5. Setup your centerpiece: You can choose to include serving pieces for family style or leave them on the counter and go buffet style! I love adding in candlesticks with flameless candles and some kind of greenery or faux stems to pull everything together!

That's it! Tablescapes used to intimidate me but then I learned, there is no way to mess this up! These traditional colors would be perfect for your Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving table! Happy eating!!

Here’s our back patio ready for fall! It still gets so hot out here in the sun so we added this cantilever umbrella that actually includes the base and is affordable! It also has solar lights which is awesome! It comes in a lot of colors and we have the fog gray. I’m also linking my pillows, pumpkins and rug here!

Here’s a simple fall center piece I created by using my favorite oval Seagrass basket/tray! I filled one side of it with white pumpkins and gourds from pottery barn. Then I added these gorgeous gold candle sticks/taper candle holders from Walmart and my favorite flameless flicker taper candles from Amazon! I also added in a fall magnolia stem I got from hobby lobby. The perfect fall vibe for our farm table!

This awesome skull💀candy dish is back in stock! I loved it as is, but thought I would make it a little more glam so I used my favorite metallic spray paint by Rustoleum and painted gold perfect for Halloween candy, or favorite fall snack or treat bowl or you could even use it as a planter! Spooky fun for the season!!

My simple fall bedroom! I love this cozy blanket! It’s knit and chunky, so soft and warm and the camel color is beautiful! I love how it ties in with the wood tones of our wood blinds/shades, nightstands, and picture frames! These throw pillow covers are also gorgeous and from one of my favorite small shops! Last of all, Cariloha retreat sheets are literally the softest sheets I have ever slept on. They are the best!

The terracotta pumpkins and jack-o’-lanterns are perfect for porch steps! I’ll be turning all mine around next week to get ready for Halloween! We’ve had it for several years and it has held up great through three kids! So much rain from Hurricane Helene but glad we are safe and cozy! Anyone else enjoy sitting out in a rain storm and just listening? Not a bad view either of my fall decorations on our front porch!☺️ i love Pottery Barn’s pillow collection and this blanket is seriously so cozy and soft! I did a layered rug (5x8) and doormat (2x5) here and added my favorite cedar trees and woven/rattan pre-lit pumpkins! I love these fall/autumn colors in my seasonal home decor!

My fall porch all lit up in the evening!🤩 This is where my fairytale fall dreams really came to life with fall decorations from Pottery Barn! Step styling can be intimidating but it doesn’t have to be…here’s what I do:

1. Start with your largest pieces…the ones you want to make a statement! This was the trees and the woven pre-lit pumpkins from Pottery Barn! I spread them out for balance without making it totally symmetrical.

2. Add a few pieces with varying color and texture: the black outdoor lanterns and baskets with flowers! (These exact flowers are from Hobby Lobby)

3. Filler…the terracotta pumpkins filled in all the gaps and pulled it together! PS: I actually used several of the jack-o-lantern pumpkins so I can turn them around in a few weeks for Halloween! Stay tuned!🎃 Be sure to check out my front porch collection for more!

I use them indoors usually but decided to bring them out for the season because I love green and orange together this year! 🍂✨Fairytale Fall Front Porch…a series✨🍂

My fall porch is done and I could not be happier with how it all turned out! HUGE thanks to @potterybarn for bringing my fairytale porch dreams to life! I’m breaking it down into a series so there’s a lot more to come!

Today, we’re starting with the doors…these are always my steps to get my front doors ready for any season:

1. Layer a neutral scatter or jute rug and welcome mat. For double doors, I usually go with a 4x6 or 3x5 rug!

2. Add baskets and planters in varying textures and fill with trees, mums, and flowers...don't be afraid to mix faux and live plants!

3. Top it off with fall wreaths and a few pumpkins! (BONUS: these wreaths and woven pumpkins light up!🤩I’ll show you soon!)

In our case, the swing is currently a daybed because it’s too low to actually swing at the moment😂😂but this is my favorite part of our porch and I loved using non-traditional fall colors here this year! Pottery Barn has the most beautiful throw pillows and softest blankets. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or take an afternoon nap! Not that I ever do either of those things!🤷🏼‍♀️ I also added a gorgeous outdoor rug and my fave fall doormat for texture. These are the best, most realistic looking cedar trees perfect for any season and I love this woven pumpkin that lights up!🤩

The question I get asked most often is “how do you hang the wreaths on your front doors?” This is my not so secret secret! I use teeny tiny nails!
