The kitchen was a big transformation - the biggest impact was removing the upper cabinets & replacing with these floating shelves - this felt perfect for a cottage & was an inexpensive alternative to new cabinets! We kept the original lower cabinets, just painted and added new hardware

I know painting the wood paneling was a controversial move, but it was really important to me that the space felt light and bright. We also exposed the original hardwoods under the carpet and added beadboard to the ceiling to cover the old tiles

24 hours in Ocean Springs, MS! We’ve done a lot of exploring along the coast this year, and this little town definitely made the favorites list - we wanted somewhere that was dog friendly, and this was the perfect fit - We loved browsing the local shops, admiring the gorgeous live oak trees all around downtown, and watching the sun set at the beach!
