So for the past four weeks since my operation, I’ve basically been wearing jammies or joggers. So as I’m able to move bit more and can go for short walks or to the pub, I decided it’s time to mix it up. I call this outfit, the dog walker 😂 sadly I still can’t hold the lead but it’s a start. Can’t get over how small my boobs are! So happy! Also wanted to start wearing my new kicks! Love them!!

I love mixing the old and new especially during the winter. Laying is key right now and I’m enjoying every minute of it with body warmers, sackets and long oversized tees. The hubby bought me these boots for Christmas (thank you Gary) and I utterly love how comfy they are! It was a few years ago now that I went to #drmartens factory but after going, I really appreciate how well put together these boots are and they last years too! ✌️

My sustainable fashion route is going strong and these @gucci sneakers are one of my latest investments.

Gucci has heavily been investing in their own sustainable journey and as a result created Demetra. A groundbreaking new material Demetra, combines quality, softness and durability with an eco-friendly ethos. Made from animal-free raw materials that are primarily from sustainable, renewable and bio-based sources and unlike the majority of innovative new materials, has no impediments to scalability or limitations on volume. Also any Demetra scraps produced during the manufacturing process will be upcycled and reused by Gucci.

Sounds pretty good to me.

My birthday was a bit of a quiet affair in December as Covid was starting to get naughty again so we had a nice walk around Hyde Park. It was a big achievement for me and my #longcovid body as I haven’t been able to walk huge distances but we managed about 4/5 miles which I was pretty happy with.
We wrapped up too as it was bloody freezing that day and I thought my Del Boy coat was perfect for the task. 5 years old and going strong (the coat 😉)

One thing I have learnt over the years is that a break from everything is the perfect refresher. Whether you need time off from your work, your family, your house, your busy life etc, it’s good to learn to realise when to take a timeout to recharge your batteries and breathe.
We recently got back from a trip to Alton Towers and it’s exactly what we needed. With our work, the renovation at home and other commitments, things were getting a bit much so we booked done time off and off we went. We had time to ourselves, time to reflect and even time to catch up on some much needed sleep.
I’m so pleased we did it. It was great for the body, mind and soul.
