Playing around with ways to wear is a great way to get the best use from your wardrobe.

I discovered this shirt in the men’s section and it’s become a firm favourite with lots of options.

Untucked, open, knotted or tied this shirt is a lovely way to nail that masculine/feminine feel.

It’s a slim fit so it has shape and can be worn loads of ways - plus it’s long enough to double as a beach cover up 👌🏻

The curve jeans are my most worn - the shape is excellent and the denim is really soft and fluid.

Summer styling is made easier when you buy with your existing wardrobe in mind. Make sure new pieces work with old, you can think of different ways to wear and at least 3 places you’d wear it.
Avoid too many details to keep it versatile and always remember it has to fit in with your real life - not your fantasy life!

A lack of confidence and the body changes we experience in our 50s are common and can really challenge our sense of who we are.
I recommend taking it back to some basics.

1. Choosing good fabrics. Breathable items that don’t cling and won’t turn you into a walking furnace.
2. Ignore the label. Choose the piece that fits and prioritise looks that give you ease and comfort.
3. Think before you buy. Does it work with what you already have? A wardrobe of well chosen pieces that complement each other and genuinely work with your lifestyle is worth much more than one with dozens of one trick ponies and too many trends.

Keep it simple, keep it comfy, keep it you x
