This space right here is where I spend SO much of my days.... I have to say, it’s a pretty dang amazing space to spend my time. Years ago, I worked in an oil & gas office in downtown Calgary. I spent my days in an inside office, with no windows or natural light at all. I was there for almost three years and I honestly felt like it sucked the life out of me. In the winter, I would go to the office when it was still dark in the morning and leave when it was already dark at night. It was down right depressing. So when we finished the attic of this home I wanted a space that made me happy, calm and inspired to work in!!! I found these old corbels on an antique hunt and had a talented friend, @completeconcrete make the concrete top to the desk!! I love the huge work area I have and how bright and airy my work space is!!!! I am more productive, happy and healthy getting all that vitamin D from the skylights up here too!!! I truly feel it is so important to surround yourself with a space that makes you smile when you walk into it!!
