Why buy a toy basket when you can store your toys (or your 5 year old) in a boat? My little one loves this boat. I thought he’d be too big for it but as a near 60 pound 5 year old, he loves cuddling up in it.

This tumbling mat was intended for gymnastics practices at home, but has equally hosted horse play from the boys. 10/10

Excuse me while I live in this loungewear set from #freepeople. Working solo or from home sometimes paralyzes my ADHD brain. But getting dressed (and staying comfortable) is how I feel ready for the day.

Home studio vibes! Washable rug came in handy when my 4 year old reached a little too far for some paint and tipped this entire easel over. 😜

Easy dinner, easy cleanup.

This little step stool is my favorite recent target find. The birthday boy is in arm’s reach as my little helper now thanks to this sweet little stool (and that bottom step folds in when that first step isn’t needed). I love it.

The bulk of my BTS here is about the home and my homebody finds. Sharing a new outfit find today. Excuse the mess and wallpaper samples, but this is my life. …and this is my easy outfit choice for the in between chilly in the morning grab a sweater, back to 80° by lunch kind of Louisiana fall.

I am nothing if not branded. Travel weekend is set with a capsule wardrobe of 7 outsides and three pairs of shoes …all in my carry-on. Because nobody here is trying to check a bag if she doesn’t have to.

HOW-TO: move furniture that’s 4 times your body weight with a garden center cart and some pot rags (not actually recommended).

However, 10/10 recommend using furniture for pantry storage. Adding mirrored or reeded glass is a great way to hide less than aesthetically-pleasing packaging.

Washed away the weekend. This claw foot tub sprayer has diligently been used as a pretend phone from “back in the day” when phones were connected to the wall (as my older offspring explains).
