Knitted co-ords. Looking to make these my official Sat/Sun uniform!!! I feel SO comfortable and put together at the same time. I like having the smarter coat and structured bag with the casual co-ord - just feels like a good balance.

Has party season kicked off for you yet? It has for me! This week we’ve been to see lovers actually at the theatre and my daughter’s nativity at school! And it was sooooo cute! Emotional mum over here as that’s the last nativity for us. She will be carol singing from next year!

When it comes to festive dressing I always look for comfy but chic and this velvet suit is a beauty. This can be worn year after year and styled in so many different ways. I don’t think you need to be panic buying every year. The right pieces really are timeless!

I’m loving all the brown tones around this A/w. Such an easy colour to wear. And I love these pleat trouser and knit t-shirt. Knit t-shirts are a bit more dressy than a cotton tee but nice and comfy!

Yes…another sequin skirt! I love this skirt from Hobbs, normally I would pair a skirt like this with a top or shirt in a matching colour but the @hobbslondon festive campaign had it paired with this gorgeous red cashmere jumper. I love the contrast in colour and textures. Just such a lovely festive look.

Another try on from my @marksandspencerstyle Autograph order. This is one of those dresses that doesn’t have much hanger appeal but looks different on. It’s definitely a versatile piece too, it can be easily dressed up like this for an eve look or add a jumper and boots it’s a fab daytime outfit.

And who remembers Shewolf the first time around? I still LOVE Shakira.

Well there had to be a try on! Love this sequin skirt with fringe detail @marksandspencerstyle Autograph. Think it works well with a white shirt, silver heels/jewellery and it’s not party for me if there’s no red lipstick. Love @maccosmeticsuki #rubywoo

The skirt is loose on me and I would size down. The best thing about this outfit?!…no Spanx/shapewear and I get to wear a normal bra. I’m too old for uncomfortable stick on bras/tape situations. I have recently found the comfiest strapless bra that actually matches my skin tone! Will share soon. And yes it’s from M&S!

The only way I can properly enjoy a night out out…I have to be comfortable! Anyone else the same?

Popped into the @abercrombie @westfieldlondon and tried on some jeans and I finally understand why so many creators recommend them. I’ve tried ordering @abercrombie jeans recently and haven’t managed to get the size or length right. You have to size way down. I love these high waist 90s jeans and the regular length is perfect for me with flats and I’m 5ft 9. The only thing I’d say is they don’t always have full availability across sizes and washes. I really wanted a dark blue in these too and they didn’t have it in store or online. The sales assistant said to keep checking back as they do drops regularly.

Random fact to share…way back in my 20s, I interviewed for a womenswear design position @abercrombie There was a 2 round interview in London and then you’re flown out to their head office in U.S (Ohio I think) for a couple of days for the last interview. I was (and am) such a homebody that when I got to the last stage I ended up declining the last interview as I couldn’t imagine living abroad.

Popped into @mango just to try on the chocolate scarf coat from my previous post…and of course they didn’t have it in store! Tried these styles instead.

1. Khaki shearling jacket The jacket that was absolutely everywhere last year gets a khaki update. Did think it was cute and loved the knot buttons.

2. Short grey jacket. There’s variations of this boxy short jacket all over the high street and I do think this is a quality pick. Felt more premium than the price point.

3. Chocolate brown oversize coat. I am SO a creature of habit. I have the same coat in a stone colour from last year and I absolutely love it and I love this new colour way. Hundred percent had to stop myself buying it.

Side note…totally bugs me that these jeans are not long enough!

The outfit that got a LOT of love on stories had to make it onto the grid. It was my cousins engagement drinks last week and I thought I definitely needed some sparkle! Pulled out my navy sequin trousers from @johnlewis and went with a merino jumper, blazer and @maccosmetics Ruby woo red lipstick for a simple evening look! And yes, I wore pretty much the same outfit a few times last year. I’m here for outfit repeating!

I’ve linked some similar style trousers on my @ltk.europe I wasn’t able to find any Navy trousers but I found some gorgeous other colours! Green, silver, copper and black. For a similar look to mine go for a top and blazer in the same colour as the trousers.

I also have had a lot of requests for evening wear inspo so will put together some inspo! Definitely feel party season is right around the corner.

I’m just looking to add a handful of pieces into my existing wardrobe for A/w and these are recent saves!

1. Monochrome burgundy outfits. Love the colour and the pleat detail on the wide leg trousers.

2. Suede bag. This one from @joebrowns is 👌🏽

3. Knitted T-shirt. Great transitional piece

4. Tailored maxi skirts. Still on the look out for a maxi that’s long enough for me! This will be a good alternative to my usual jeans and trousers!

5. Nars red lipstick. Inappropriate

6. Chocolate wool scarf coat. Every year @mango coats are so good! And this is one of a few I’m eyeing up! May add one to my wardrobe

7. Patent black loafers. Love @carvela loafers.

8. White shirt and jeans. My fav uniform!

9. Belt with gold hardware. I’ve been wearing this @lkbennettlondon belt non stop. Adds some detail to simple outfits.

Here’s to not saving anything in your wardrobe for special occasions! I bought this white midi dress for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. (She turned 1 in lockdown so the 3rd was the big party we couldn’t throw for her 1st!) I haven’t worn it much since but have decided to add it to the just wear the dress section! I love @reformation dresses the fit is always 👌🏽 and the styles are timeless. I picked up the block heels from @hm sale and they are so comfortable.

I am in loveee with this @abercrombie linen dress. The quality is just 👌🏽 the dress is fully lined, it has detachable straps and the scallop details is sooo pretty.
