Back to school shopping for Aves has been so hit and miss this year - jeans have definitely been the hardest as she’s in between kid and adult sizing.

Here are some thing that actually worked (she’s 5’1” - size 13/14 kids or 24p adult - size XS tops in adults)

Found this one at J.Crew and I’m a huge fan!

Not too cropped, not sheer, great fit.

I went with a medium and this is the fit after one wash .

I sized up one in the bottoms for a loose fit

Grabbed this Old Navy set before heading to California and it’s been perfect for the overcast mornings at the beach.

I went with medium in both the top and shorts.

Tried to recreate this Boden look with a few look for less pieces.

I snagged the Boden skirt and then paired it with a men’s oxford button down from Old Navy and Banana Republic Factory shoes for half the price of the Boden ones.

Shoes are true to size and comfy.

One of my most worn items in my closet. I got it a few years ago and it’s held up great. I had found it on sale but it looks like it’s full price right now so I linked two very similar Gap denim tops.

First and foremost, she says hydration is key!

Second, she’s got a handful of products she swears by (and gave us a couple options in some cases).

Daytime cleanser: Image Vital C Hydrating Facial Cleanser

Daytime moisture: Oak Essentials Ritual Oil or Fluent Skin Calm Replenish Facial Oil + Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream OR Augustinus Bader Elixir, Oil, and Cream (all three of those would be instead of the other two oil options and Kiehl’s)

Nighttime cleanser: Eminence Stone Crop Cleansing Oil or Oak Essentials Cleansing Balm

Nighttime exfoliant: Eminence Monoi Age Corrective Exfoliating Cleanser or Eminence Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant

Nighttime moisture: one of the oils above or if you need healing elements, Eminence Facial Recovery Oil and then a face cream
