You know you found a good man when he supports your high maintenance behavior and passions.

I had 🍒surgery because of an encapsulation in one breast, so I decided to do a chemical peel at the same time since I knew I wouldn’t be going anywhere…such a good idea. But I forgot you can’t wear anything on your skin before/during surgery. I told him “as soon as I get out, make sure I’m moisturized please.” I had no idea he would film each product 😂.

How pretty are these angel wing eye patches?! I’ve had the BOJ eye cream for about a year now and it’s viral for a reason. Retinals can be irritating and a lot for delicate under eye skin, but this eye cream is so gentle. The eye patches are such a good addition to lock everything in and work so well as a duo together. Spray Tan Pro-Tips:

✔️Exfoliate your dead skin before (shave/scrub/chemical exfoliant, whatever)
✔️Apply lotion to dry areas (feet, hands, elbows, knees)
✔️Wear feet stickies so the soles of your feet don’t get tan (I can link)
✔️Wear a hair net over your face so some tanner comes through, but not as much and your face so it isn’t too tan
✔️Wear a shower cap to protect your hair
✔️Bring a blending brush to blend everything (like wrists, neck, ankles)
✔️Wear dark, loose clothing
✔️If you are doubling up on a tan that week to get extra dark, wear gloves and no show socks on your second visit so your feet/hands don’t get too tan

There’s so much to say about melasma, but as you can see, there are many different ways that we need to treat it and keep it at bay. It’s more than just a one and done thing, but having a solid skin care routine is so important.

This is what works for me:

AM:
Gentle cleanser
Barrier spray
Vitamin c
Brightening serum/cream
Azaleic acid
barrier cream
Tinted mineral spf over 40 spf (best for melasma)

PM:
Barrier spray/toner
Brightening serum/cream
Retinol/retinal/tretinoin etc
Barrier cream
*adding in chemical exfoliating serums/pads a few times a week is helpful!
