This has been a very exciting few months. First: I retired from the University of Alabama after almost 30 years. Second: My husband Erik and I purchased 26 acres of land from my mom and my two aunts, which original belonged to my grandparents. Third: The excavating is starting and now comes the fun part. Time to pull out those interior design skills from college. {we want talk about how long that's been}. Hope Erik knows what he's getting into - wink, wink. Forth: We found out Erik's daughter is expecting so I guess that makes me a.... not a grandma.
