A ton of my friends asked me why didn't I head to California to hang with my family for quarantine. I'll share my story why I choose to stay in New York City, around the second week of March, I had lunch with one of my neighbors, and while we had lunch, he told me he didn't feel well. We didn't think anything of it. In the next few days, he got very sick and was sick for a few weeks. It was before the covid19 test was available. I stayed away from my friends and family. I did end up getting a fever and body aches for one night and then the next day it was gone. Now a month later, two people from his work died of the disease. I urge everyone to think of others and stay home. Regardless, my viral load could have been minimal; I could have got others sick if I was not careful. So, I #StayHomefor my family and friends.
I play with my makeup and enjoy my time in my home office creating. We are all going to be busy again soon and think back on the TIME we had to take care of ourselves. Happy Holidays everyone! The past few days, I've been volunteering, and what a wonderful gift it's been. We hung out with foster kids yesterday, gave everyone gifts, made pizza, and listened to reggaeton music with group refugee girls from the boarder's camps. All the kids were so grateful for everything. Most of them have no clothing items of their own. I brushed up on my Spanish and had a blast with them. I had a chat with the american kids about their goals for 2020. We couldn’t take pics with the kids. I think more of us need to volunteer to humanize the issues we see in the news currently. So many times, we just wanted to cry, knowing these kids have no families. Big thanks to @jackie @noah @moti @christian all the brands that sent items the kids were super pumped!
