I’ve been really into toys that spark creative play, work on fine motor skills, color recognition, and independent play. Montessori toys have been my go to for this and Anna has been a big fan of them. We have others as well but these solid brightly colored wooden toys are her favorites time and time again. I love how she can practice shape recognition, seeing how things fit together and balance as well as patterns and so much more. What’s even better is the 4 year old I nanny also finds ways to use and incorporate these toys into her creative play! I’m a big fan of Montessori style toys and plan to share more of our favorites as we grow our collection.
