The bottoms I’m wearing for summer 2023: maxi skirts
Flowy skirt: I’d pair this with a fitted top. I love the style of this skirt but not the material so I’ve linked a few similar I’ve ordered to compare. Wearing my usual S (Im 5’ 7). I sized up to M in the tube top.
Fitted skirt: fairly thick knit, will be great going into fall. Wearing my usual S. Linen shirt fits tts, I sized up to M for a roomier fit + I have long arms. Size up 1/2 size in the brown sandals unless you have narrow feet.

Travel outfit! I love these pants for travel, they are stretchy and so comfortable but look elevated. I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish wearing my usual size 4 in the 31.5” inseam.
Wearing S in the merino wool tee, I reviewed four brands of merino tees recently and this one was my favorite. Merino wool tees are great for travel cause they are soft, absorb odors and if you need to wash them they dry quickly.

Mary Jane sneakers! Not sure if I’m into this trend but these sneakers are cute and comfortable. Like all Adidas sneakers they fit big, I always go down 1/2 size.
Wearing my usual size 27 in the jeans and had to size up to L in the jacket cause it was the only size left.

Aritzia Lodge pants vs Gap wide leg pants!
These are very similar, the material feels exactly the same and the fit is nearly identical. The main differences is the Aritzia pants have a wider waist band, regular drawstring (Gaps drawstring is on the inside), the Aritzia pants have silky material in the pockets, come in more colors and other materials.
I’m wearing both in small regular here but I also have the Aritzia ones in linen in tall. The Gap pants in tall are super long and their linen version in regular length are shorter than in this fabric.
Aritzia pants are $148 in both Canada and the U.S., Gap are around $100, depending on the country and their ever changing sales

Pinterest inspired spring outfit formula: white top and pants, a neutral jacket and pops of color with matching sneakers and neck scarf!
My pants are linen and lined so not sheer, I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish and got the size 4 tall.
Tee is also not sheer, it’s a thicker material and a really nice quality for the price. I’m wearing M for a roomier fit.
My sneakers are Adidas which I find fit a little big, I always go down 1/2 size.
Wearing my usual size S in the suede jacket.

The yoga top has really nice cooling fabric and is my new go to for yoga, my instructor got one too after seeing mine!
The blazer is stretchy and so comfortable!
The grey lounge pants are incredibly soft! The linen feel pants are perfect for summer, lightweight but not actually linen so won’t wrinkle as much!

Aritzia vs Gap cotton gauze joggers! Perfect summer pants! I’m 5’ 7” wearing my usual size S in both, only the Gap ones come in tall or petite.
Both are 100% cotton and come in several colors, white is slightly sheer.
They are very similar, the Gap ones and a little longer (might shrink when washed) and have a thicker waist band.
The Gap pair are also surprisingly expensive, wait for a sale! Currently only 10% off with code PERK.

1. Lululemon stretchy pants: stretchy pull on pants that are super comfortable but look like dress pants. My go to for travel! 11 colours. I have black and brown: Fit tts, I’m 5’ 7” wearing my usual size S in the 31.5” inseam, also available in short and tall inseams.
2. Short trench: trendy style of jacket, great for spring! Fits tts
3. Low rise jeans: Slightly low rise, very slouchy and soft. I’m in my usual size 27 (32” inseam). My wash is “good grades” and contains 55% cotton, 45% lyocell (Aritzia website says 100% cotton which might be true for the other washes). Also found them on the Canadian and U.S. Levi’s websites, US site has three inseams, Canadian only 30" and not all washes have lyocell
4. Lightweight pants: gauzy cotton material, perfect for summer! Elastic waist, 3 colors, fit tts/big, I got XS.
5. Linen blend pants: elastic and drawstring waist, 11 colors, I’m 5’ 7” wearing S tall, regular length is a hair short on me.
