How to style culottes! Outfit inspo.

Comfy fall outfit! I’m 5’ 7” wearing L in the fleece (bought last fall & that was the only size left but it’s back in stock now!) and my usual S in the foldover yoga pants (sadly they shrank a little in the length when I washed them).
Adidas sneakers fit big, I always go down 1/2 size.

Outfit inspo: how to style leggings for fall!

October outfit, yes we’re still wearing white after Labour day! I’m 5’ 7” wearing my usual size S in the cashmere sweater and plaid shirt, sized up to L in the jacket cause I wanted an oversized fit, it’s a bit too big, I should have gotten a M. My pointy high vamp ballet flats are pricy but amazing quality and so comfortable, use code CBSTYLED-25 for $25 off $200 or more. Can also be used on my bag, the loafers I also considered for this outfit or anything at Poppy Barley. My jeans are old but I linked similar.

Save or splurge barrel leg jeans! Uniqlo on the left and Aritzia on the right. They are the same style (rise, inseam and width) but the Aritzia pair are 100% cotton while the Uniqlo pair are 24% lyocell and 76% cotton which makes them softer and slouchier.
The Aritzia pair fit big, go down at least one size.

Fall colours outfit! These jeans are my current fave, they are half lyocell which makes them really soft and comfortable. I’m 5’ 7” wearing my usual size small. I have two washes now, “good grades” which is lighter and this darker one which is “Let In Trnsltn”.
Wearing my usual size S in the sweater and jacket. Adidas fit big, I go down 1/2 size.

Leggings outfit ideas! These leggings are my go to in the fall, they are super stretchy and have no compression but are incredibly comfortable as super affordable! Im 5’ 7” and wear size S/M.
I linked what I could from the outfits, most things fit tts but I often size up in jackets and tops cause I prefer a roomy fit and I have long arms.

Tryin on new H&M barrel jeans, I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish and I got these in a size 4 and they are a little snug, I think 6 is probably better on me. Love the length and the wash. Also linked the @Steve Madden CA shoes and boots I have on (sized up 1/2 size in both)

Easy Pinterest look, a simple sweater and jeans get a little added interest by cuffing the jeans and using a bag in a contrasting color.
I’m 5’ 7” wearing my usual size 27 in the jeans and M in the sweater. The loafers fit tts and are really comfortable and great quality, use code CBSTYLED-25 for $25 off orders $200+.
Also linked my bag, belt and sunnies.

High vamp ballet flats are my new faves and I’ve been looking for a brown pair, here are some I love.
I got my usual size in the Steve Madden pair and went up 1/2 size in the JC pair.
Both shoes come in several colors and are available at several retailers

Comparing Aritzia and Amazon off the shoulder sweaters!
Both sweaters are soft, not itchy and I’m wearing M in both. My usual size is S and the Aritzia sweater is more oversized but shorter, I should have gotten my usual size. The Amazon sweater is longer, I had to tuck it in, but the top part fit great, in a size S it might not be as easy to pull off the shoulder.
The Aritzia sweater comes in 14 colours, the Amazon one in four.
The Aritzia sweater definitely feels like better quality but the Amazon sweater is a nice alternative for less than half the price

September outfit! It was a fairly warm day so I added a silk scarf and suede bag to give the outfit a fall touch 🤎 My barrel jeans are old from H&M but it looks like the same style is back. If they fit the same get your usual size. My boxy tee is also old but still available on the U.S. Old Navy website. Flip flops have arch support and are super comfortable, fit tts.

Fall boots: Uggs! Not really trendy or out, they have been a staple for fall and winter for years! The lower pair are a little more current and work great with the wider jeans and pants that are also trending. I find Uggs fit a little big, I’m a size 7.5 and all my Ugg boots are size 7. The fur inside gets a little packed down as you wear them too.
Also linked the spray that makes water bead off them, it makes them look nice longer!

Brown suede ballet flats for fall! 🍂
Deciding if I want the lighter or darker brown, both are very cute and fit tts/snug, they are real suede so will stretch a little but I might size up 1/2 size.
Linked at several retailers plus also found a few similar pairs that also have a higher vamp and this almost v shape opening that is tending now.

My fave low rise wide leg jeans in two darker options for fall!
First pair is “Lst In Trnsltn” and 45% lyocell so they are super soft and comfortable.
The second pair are “Tomorrow morning” and 100% cotton so thicker and more rigid. Both are size 27, 32” inseam but the 100% cotton pair seem shorter. I’m 5’ 7” and 27 is my usual size in denim.
The pair from the beginning that I’ve had since spring are in the wash “good grades” and also contain 45% lyocell and 55% cotton.
My tee is from Amazon and I’m in my usual size small
Also linked the sneakers (go down 1/2 size) and boots

Quince new arrivals for fall 2026!

Bestsellers Sep 20-26! I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish.
1. Suede boots: a lower cost lookalike to my new Steve Madden boots (#4) that a follower recommended. According to her they are very comfortable.
2. Ruti pants lookalikes from Amazon: this pair is very similar to my Ruti pants, same stretchy material, very similar shape but bigger (longer rise, longer inseam, wider leg) but that could be cause I sized up to M since I sized up in my Ruti pants.
3. Wide leg jeans: super soft and comfortable cause a high amount of Tencel. I’m wearing my usual size in the 32” length in wash “good grades”. Just got a darker wash, will share soon
4. Suede boots: I got these recently and love the trendy sleep style. They are elevated but the low block heel makes them comfortable. I got my usual size and they fit great, I might size up to wear thick socks in the winter. From Steve Madden but linked at several retailers.
5. Ruti pants: expensive but so comfortable and great quality. Most colors come in several inseams, I sized up one size to a 6 and the fit is perfect.

Culotte outfit ideas for September, October, November and December!
I won’t tell you it’s a super versatile item but I think it’s such a fun trend and it really elevates the outfit and makes it more current.
I would personally not wear culottes with sneakers, that feels a little too much like an old man outfit but I think they are cute with ballet flats, heels and especially boots.
I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish wearing size 6 in mine. Linked what I could of shoes, bags and tops.
Wearing S in the red top and men’s M in the blue long sleeved tee.

American Eagle / Aerie fall try on!
I’m 5’ 7” size 4ish wearing:
- windbreaker: size S. It’s a cute jacket but a cropped fit, a bit too short on my long torso
- plaid shirt: size S. Very cozy and soft, oversized fit
- barrel pants: size S regular. Great fit and comfy but the material is not warm and also pretty noisy.
Also linked my foldover yoga pants, fleece turtleneck, jeans, sneakers, bags and olive funnel neck jacket (not from AEO/Aerie)
