I went with this one bc it says it has a thicker activated carbon filter to help with mold & other things than the cheaper version! So far I like it! Our room definitely smells fresher!

My fave DIY laundry detergent

Recipe:
•1/2 a box of zote flakes (or one bar shredded)
•2 cups of baking soda (not shown😅)
•1 55 oz box of washing soda
•1 65 oz box of borax
•1 5 lb container of oxi clean (I got the odor blasters one since my hubby’s workout clothes are always pretty smelly haha)
•1 24 oz container of your fave laundry scent booster (totally optional!)
•1 large container to store it in! (The one shown only holds half of the mixture.)

- literally dump all the ingredients into a large trash sack and mix around until well mixed. Pour into a large container with a lid. I linked the one I have below, it fits about half. I put the rest in a gallon ziplock bag! I use 1-3 scoops per load (depending on the size!)

the best diy laundry detergent!! I’ve been making this for several years! (I stopped for a couple years- long story😊) but I started making it again and I love it! It’s fun and easy to make, it works great & it’s the cheapest you’ll find at 16¢ per load!! The total cost for me was $44 and it makes about 280 loads! I didn’t add in the cost of the jar since I already had it. This recipe comes from the blog, onegoodthingbyjillee, imo she’s the queen of diy home care stuff!! I’ll share the link for the recipe below if you want all her tips for making this!
