Welcome to episode 9 where we are kicking off COLOR 🌈 and COMFORT ☁️ because I realize I am still a mom and need to dress functionally…. Not like I’m ready for the corporate office or the runway lol. ONE DAY…. but not today 😂 it’s fun to dress up when I’m going out but I realize that’s not realistic for day to day.

ALSOOOOO I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find the right products to recreate these outfits… so consider this comfy haul an *intermission* episode while I find the right items to create the outfits we have picked as our inspo at the end 🤣 but they are coming!!! Trust the process 😘 it’s gonna be so fun.

This conversation was SO EYE OPENING to me. We focus so much on *stuff* during Christmas and it is so overwhelming. And my kids still have unopened gifts from last year! I’m over it and all the consumerism. I would so much rather put my money towards experiences and *memories* with my kids. That’ll last so much longer than the plastic. 🥴🙌🏼 I talked to my kids and we will be changing things up this year and I feel really good about it. Quality > quantity. 🎁❣️

It’s been 2 months since I started my Pinspired Project 📌 (if you’re new— you can binge the first 8 episodes) 😘 I have learned so much about my personal style and what I ACTUALLY want to wear as a mom of 3 young kids day to day. It’s not what I originally planned but I’m so happy with where we are going. I’m hoping soon enough my closet will be full of clothes I actually like and can make multiple outfits from. 😆

I do believe in “buy nice or buy twice” — you could buy 5 poor quality sweaters that’ll last one season, or 1 nice quality sweater that’ll last 10 years. It’s hard because we are trying to save money (I GET IT) but sometimes we spend more by trying to be cheap 😭 that’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned honestly 🥲 — and the hardest one lol.
