Visit to Mystic for one last summer excursion.

Not quite ready to flip the switch and enter fall mode. It’s always a struggle to face the end of the season I’d been waiting all year for, and to lament all the things I didn’t do. Not enough beach days, didn’t picnic in the rose garden, didn’t wear that dress (or two, or three) that had been waiting for a special occasion. So here I am, back in the cycle of waiting for next summer.

The never ending hunt for cute vintage (or just thrifted finds) is probably my favorite hobby. Currently obsessed with collecting vintage Coach belts, but how cute is this crochet top? Might even be handmade, which makes it feel even more special, and was only $8

I thrifted this Milly dress quite a few years ago, and it was a bit snug on me at the time so I packed it away. I’ve been trying to go through some of those pieces (two sterilite bins worth) and when I tried this on it zipped up perfectly. Good news for this dress, bad news for the other dress I packed for this visit to Boston, it was now too big and I had to wear this dress two days in a row 🤷🏻‍♀️
