I spotted this dress on Shopbop’s new arrivals last week and immediately thought it was stunning. The fabric has such a beautiful weight and feel, with crochet-laced seams along the bodice and neckline.

Then came the buyer’s remorse… I started wondering if it felt too summery to get much wear out of it. But the second I tried it on, I realized it’s actually the perfect shade of fall red and could even work for the holidays. ❤️

Of course, living in the Northeast means getting a little creative with how to style a dress like this once the temperatures drop. So I pulled pieces from my own closet to make it feel more fall and winter ready. Here’s what I came up with…

Love the linen feel, pretty pattern and colors, and a super easy style to wear. I threw this cable knit in this beautiful chartreuse color to give it a more fall like feel. This sweater will be restocked this week!
