Happy Friday! Let’s get this out of the way. These “show” shoes, as my team calls them, lasted all of 40 minutes. Then I threw on my sneakers for PE. 😂 This @amazon dress was a win! I’m back at work this week. I’ve been trying to think of ways to transition my summer pieces into work wear. We are not yet in fall as it was in the high 90s today. This summer dress paired perfectly with some heels and a blazer. Black and white is classic. Am I right?

Funny story, I don’t have sea legs. We took a sunset cruise on a catamaran our last night in Hawaii, and I think I still feel the ocean waves in my brain. 🤪 It’s taking me and the kids several days to get back on California time, but we’re back to our regularly scheduled program. They start school tomorrow. I can’t believe it! What is this mom going to do with by all her time?

After the burn calmed down, I’m loving my Hawaiian tan. My kids did excellent on the red eye flight home. It was a nice vacation, but I’m glad to be home. This gauze dress was a winner. I wore it as a cover up and to dinner.

So I found out my kids tan and sun burn, and so do I 😱. I’m not mad though. This has been a lovely family vacation. This dress was super light weight and got me through 63% humidity. Took a trip to Waimea yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful driving there.

My favorite thing to do at the beach is to look for shells and sand dollars. My kid’s have joined the fun, and we’ve started a jar with all the shells from our trips.
