You guys, I have been cravingggg creativity like no other lately, so I spent my entire Sunday last weekend doing a super cool DIY. I’ve always loved this boho inspired art design, so why not create it myself? I’ll be honest - the perfectionist in me had a hard time with this one. 😆 This style is meant to be textured, it’s meant to be imperfect, it’s meant to be unique…but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t create a design and immediately erase it because it wasn’t clean enough. 😆 BUT - if there’s anything this process taught me, it’s that taking inspired, creative action is super fun; and that nothing in this world is or has to be perfect! Appreciating this natural, imperfect beauty for what it is and letting it simply BE has honestly felt super freeing… and creating from a space of joy, fun, alignment, and inspiration…the best.🤍 I also had no intent of adding darker browns or terracotta tones to my bedroom.
