I did trim mine about an inch. I am 5‘6“ tall. Very easy to trim, just use very good scissors. They do fit for the size.

The faux leather pants are incredibly comfortable! The color I am wearing is brown, it appears to be sold out in most sizes. The color burnt paprika would be the closest color. I also own the black and love and wear that often as well.
