I am a firm believer that it's the small changes we make daily and implement consistently over time that end up determining who we are.⁣ ⁣ Talking about getting out of comfort zones on the blog today, and getting out of your comfort zone doesn’t have to be this big monumental thing. Again, it’s the small changes we make each day that add up.⁣ ⁣ This will probably sound really silly, but whatever. As an example—for the last year I have thought of taking more photos with my DSLR (like above) vs. my Iphone. While I love a good in the moment Iphone snap, I wanted to elevate some of my photos, especially for my blog. But I literally told myself for a year —you can’t take “nicer” photos—people like you because you’re “relatabe”, “unfiltered” “not curated.” You can’t change that and start sharing more “elevated” content. But recently someone said to me— no one who stays the same is inspiring. And I was like damn, that is so true. But really. That hit home. Everyone who inspires me is constantly evolving, growing and changing.⁣ ⁣ It also made me think that sometimes we tell ourselves these stories of why we can’t do something but in reality we just don’t want to stop doing what’s comfortable for us. We don’t want to try and fail. Try and feel rejected. But in looking back I realized how many of the seemingly small ways that I’ve branched out of my comfort zone in the past, ended up being huge catalyst to where I am today, and that have helped mold me into a better version of myself. ⁣ ⁣ Okay, wow that was a LONG caption. Sorry guys. If you made it this far you deserve an award lol. Would love to hear you thoughts on this and per usual, link to blog in my bio!⁣ @liketoknow.it #liketkit http://liketk.it/2YNLj #LTKunder50 #LTKunder100 #LTKfall
