How to style your autumn footwear A few easy outfit formulas to make the most of the shoes you already have: Loafers — pair with straight-leg jeans, a fine knit and blazer for an easy, polished everyday look. Add socks for an autumnal feel. Chelsea boots - work with straight-leg jeans, midi skirts or dresses. They're one of the easiest autumn boots to wear on repeat. Knee-high boots - try with a midi skirt and knit, or a dress with an oversized jacket. They're great for adding warmth without sacrificing style. Ballet flats — perfect with straight-leg jeans, a knit and a trench or coat for those milder autumn days. Trainers — keep them casual with jeans, a shirt and knit, or add a blazer/jacket to make the whole look feel more pulled together. Sock boot - great with barrel leg jeans or straight leg. They instantly elevate an outfit! You don't need a completely new wardrobe every season. Often it's about knowing how to style what you already own and making a few clever additions where needed. I'll be sharing more of my styling edits, outfit formulas and pieces I'd actually recommend to clients over on my Substack launching very soon — so keep an eye out for that.
