We only made two “fun” stops on our ~2300 mile round trip drive to Missouri and the @johnboosco Factory Showroom & Outlet was one of them. I noticed a billboard on our drive there but they were closed - noooo! Then, by chance, we stayed in Effingham, IL overnight right down the road from the store on our way home. After a quick morning charge for the car we stopped in when they opened at 8am. (Christian almost didn’t want to wait until they opened, but he’s glad we did now!) We walked out with one of their cutting boards (plus mystery oil and free paring knife) for $23. If we were better prepared we may have come home with some larger pieces…next time! Christian has his eye on some bar stools and I want a huge butcher block slab to put on the counter and some more small wood pieces. (Maybe an island one day, if I’m lucky!) I’ve wanted a Boos Block for quite a while and am so glad to finally have one. I really can feel a difference when I’m cutting on it, makes me feel so professional! LTKGiftGuide LTKunder100 LTKhome
