the most flattering and soft leggings / sports bra set from target! we love a contrast black and white trim set. pair with any coat to feel more covered up for errands etc if you are like me and it’s still a bit early in the year to feel so uncovered lol. these heart socks are so cozy and come in a set of 3 from target as well!

the PERFECT satin wedding guest dress for only $30!!!! From the same place my entire recent winter wardrobe has come from lol….Target!!! Can you believe that? Such good quality and fit. With basically only 2 weeks until Valentine’s Day, would also be perfect for Valentines or Galentines date night. I did take up the straps (hand sewn myself so not the best job lol) to support the ladies a little better but otherwise the fit is very forgiving with my favorite skims / spanx combo. Wearing an XS here, as I find Target sizing to run large. I wanted to wear closed toe non platform heels so it was floor length but didn’t have any that matched at home, but linking these Target ones I wanted to do a pattern on pattern situation with had they come in on time, also $30! Coat is old from Fabulous Furs via Mantooth Interiors, will link similar. And linking my fav heart earrings as well 🩷🩷

I am a polka dots lover through and through, so lucky for me this classic print seems to be having major moment in pre-fall fashion. I knew I was going to finally re-wear an old B&W polka dot dress for our friends’ black tie wedding reception, so I decided to make it my weekend theme with this fun brown and white polka dot skirt to the welcome party.

i ‘lose control’ 😉 when it comes to fall fashion. i only wish it got cold in Alabama sooner bc it’s still a bit too warm for all the fall cozies around here - and why transitional outfits are so important.

wore this @ganni leopard maxi dress in Highlands last month and have already worn it 4 times since. it is the perfect transitional item for fall because you can style it so many different ways into the winter by adding layered items. styled here for casual day outfit with sneakers and a draped camel sweater. have also done a black blazer and black heels. for winter I would add a fur jacket and boots!

I felt like such a sassy, sexy mama in this dress! So comfortable, ruched midi in a blue jersey fabric that can be easily dressed up or down for so many occasions. Wearing here with sneakers and a ponytail to dress down, but could also wear with heels to dress up. Regular bra friendly! Wearing a size large at 33 weeks pregnant here. The sweetest, most classic white subtle checkered linen fabric smocked puff sleeve maternity midi dress. Trying to share more home things - and thought I would start with one of my favorite DIY-ish items in my home. Got 2 of these campaign style dressers as bedside tables when we moved into our house about 5 years ago. They were originally from Hayneedle and actually came in broken and damaged so Hayneedle refunded my money and let me keep them bc shipping back would be too expensive! Talk about a steal! They were white and I used Annie Sloan Amsterdam Green to paint them, and also spray painted and distressed the bright brass hardware to make it more antiqued looking. Real campaign style dressers are very expensive, but I’m linking a few cost effective ones here as well as some similar hardware that could be put on an IKEA Rast dresser for a super cheap and very similar look!

Getting ready for spring over here with an entryway refresh and the most beautiful tulips which were a sweet gift from a friend. Just wanted to share a few of my recent favorite cosmetic products! 💓

1. BLUSHES! Blush has always been one of my favorite makeup products and I’ve expanded my collection lately. I received the new @charlottetilbury matte blush and I’m legit obsessed. I already had the glow one and this one is so much more my style. Gives good color payoff and seems to last all day! I also love the @rarebeauty ones. The TINIEST dab goes such a long way and so many great colors!
2. Just got these new @tartecosmetics makeup brushes on major sale and I looove them. It was time for me to get some new ones and theirs are such good quality and price point. PS Tarte is having 30% off right now!!
3. Tried the new @kosas glow IV and I like it a lot! I mix it with my sunscreen as a glowy primer or with their foundation for a natural glowy base.
4. The @tatcha dewy skin moisturizer is to die for. I got the value size on sale around Christmas and it’s seriously the BEST primer for glowy makeup.
5. Last but certainly not least, my husband got me this new monogrammed train makeup case from @leatherology for Christmas and I have never been so happy with a makeup bag in my life. Got the matching strap for bringing with me to do my makeup on the go, so great for travel and holds ALLLLL my goodies!

SKINCARE 🤍 Here are few of my skincare faves with my long winded reasonings:
1. Kate Somerville Exfolikate is my HOLY GRAIL exfoliator - it has chemical and physical exfoliation and really gets my flakies off better than anything else I’ve ever used. I also use the cleanser honestly bc it comes basically for free with the Exfolikate. NEVER BUY THE EXFOLIKATE ALONE! It is literally cheaper to buy it in a set which is why I only linked the sets. Also on Dermstore and Kate Somerville’s site you can get an extra 15% off with emails. For makeup removal HG is Elemis Rose Balm. It makes taking your makeup off seem like a little spa treatment and gets every bit off. I last stocked up on all these during 30% Black Friday 2020 and still have plenty.
2. Other than those 3 products, I mostly use medical grade skincare as my topical treatments. They are more expensive most of the time BUT you get way more bang for your buck and no one wants to look old if we can help it amirite?? While I linked them at Dermstore, I mostly get them directly at my derm bc I have a membership where I get a percent off and I just know I’m definitely getting the legit stuff there. I could say so much about all these but if you have any questions message me! I’m not your Derm but I’ve used so many and happy to give recs. My current faves are the SkinCeuticals moisturizer for my dry winter skin and holy grail CE Ferulic. Favorite eye cream to date is Revision DEJ. And not linked bc they only sell from places like your derm but MY FAVORITE RETINOL EVER is the SkinBetter Overnight Cream. It’s the only retinol I’ve ever been able to consistently use without significant irritation. I linked a couple other faves on here but I should probably stop talking now. Maybe I should start an actual blog for all my thoughts lol.
