We put the pool/cage lights up about three weeks ago. These will stay up all year round, but I am glad they were put up in time for the holidays. The set we have (2 strands) are shatterproof, waterproof, and have a remote to change brightness/flash/timer. We DID NOT WANT GLASS around the pool. The remote strands are currently unavailable, but I linked the same set minus the remote.
