Styling today and the coated skinnies and leopard top are out again. This time dressed up with oxblood heels and pink waistcoat.
All current apart from the waistcoat which is several seasons ago from @ichifashion. Love the pale pink to soften grey and black though with the patent oxblood to finish. You could do similar with a soft pink faux fur gilet too. But no, I do not need any more faux fur in my wardrobe!

Today was a day of two halves and two outfits. I could’ve worn something to accommodate both parts of my day but I couldn’t summon up the brainpower this morning to think so I opted for this for school run followed by admin and writing with a change later on for styling work.
Rip and repair jeans from Zara well over a year ago, grid check coat I wore several fashion weeks ago with George @asda, Aldo boots which I bought while 8 months pregnant with Little M (so 4 years ago!) and I’ve worn them every winter (including up to giving birth).
The sweater however is current. I like to wear it on days where I’m not really feeling like “La vie est Belle” to give me a pick me up. It works!

This time last week Little M and I were on set with @marksandspencer shooting a mum & mini me feature in our matching outfits. Of course she loved being allowed to sit on the kitchen worktop eating the props (blueberries!).

Easy outfit inspo: just add a textured jacket, coloured jean and metallic accessories. Simple, not boring. Throw in a bright cross-body bag or leopard for some print clash.

#TodayImWearing black. I wear dark colours often. But not so much black. No I wasn't going to a funeral, just working. And this would have been significantly improved by switching the opaques for a patterned tight. Perhaps a black holey herringbone.
But as I don't like wearing tights, I tend not to invest in them.
So it's just an FYI - this outfit would be way better without opaques!
Roll on spring and bare legs again!

This grey checked blazer was a @mango sale buy in the summertime and works equality well with black and denim jeans as it does with white jeans in the summer. This was one of those items in my wardrobe I had to tweak a little; of course the cuffs turned back - it's a must - but I also took out the shoulder pads. They weren't huge but they were there for structure. But my shoulders (my problem area!) are broad in relation to my overall shape/size so this jacket needed softening. A quick unpicker job and my sale buy is now a staple. Job done.

#TodayImWearing layers. Not groundbreaking for winter but different to just top + jumper + coat. I mixed transitional pieces to layer a sleeveless knit over a blazer and sweater. If you get cold feet, you might want to switch the courts for socks and boots though!
