PSA to all the mamas... wear the swimsuit!! I spent years uncomfortable in a bathing suit, hanging out on the beach in my coverup afraid to take it off. here's the thing.... literally NO ONE cares how you look in a swimsuit... except for you.

Here are a few tips to feel comfortable in your swimsuit this summer...
1. Find a couple swimsuits that you love, fit well, & are flattering on you! I don't love high waisted bottoms because I feel like they hug my lower belly but at the same time I wasn't about to wear a low cut bottom and have my c-section pooch hanging over, these @lillypulitzer sarong bottoms are perfect. They are a little higher and wrap at the top so they are sooooo flattering! I got them in multiple colors.
2. Try on swimsuits. I know this can be a dreaded task, but I ordered so many swimsuits from shein last year, some were cute some weren't and most didn't fit right, i ended up giving most of them away, it was such a waste!!!
3. Get a sarong! On days you aren't feeling your best, throw on a sarong, it will dress you up and make you feel more comfortable.

If you are comfortable going to the beach in anything, that's amazing! I seriously envy that. But as someone who just can't throw on any bikini and call it a day, this is my advice.

I want to be present with my kids, I want to swim and play with them at the beach and the pool, I don't want to hide on the sidelines because I don't like my "bikini body". This is why I work on my mental & physical health everyday, so I can be fully present for them!
