Some stills of my living room 📸 This is the first room you walk into after a tiny entryway in our home. There’s something so peaceful and welcoming about it and it’s become one of my favorite views in our home 🤎

Scale can make or break a space, and in my experience mirrors and wall art are the most common offenders!

If your mirror feels off, it’s probably a scale issue, not necessarily a style issue. My thoughts ⬇️

1. Go bigger than you think. When in doubt, SIZE UP… a larger mirror:
• Reflects more light
• Makes the room feel bigger
• Looks more intentional and high-end

2. Consider wall space: The mirror should feel centered within the negative space, not “floating” by its lonesome

3. Frame scale counts too! I opted for a thicker frame… why? More visual weight and interest

4. When in doubt, mock it up. Use painter’s tape to replicate the mirror size on the wall before buying. I do this all the time when I’m feeling unsure 🙌

Winter interiors are all about layers! Add in soft textures, (like a chunky knit throw) and swap overhead lights for lamps and candles to warm things up. Also, don’t underestimate contrast! Mixing rustic wood with relaxed textiles, organic materials, and collected pieces is what makes a space feel lived-in 🤎

My favorites to execute a warm & cozy winter vibe:
- winter stems & branches to add greenery
- deeper tones in pillows, throws, and vases
- mix materials like brass, marble, ceramic, and stone for a variety of textures
- pine cones & dried citrus/fruit add an organic touch
- vintage books & candles because, duh!

Keeping one of my favorite fall stems and adding golden brown ribbon really tied everything together in this room. The crabapple stems also carry through between the living and tv rooms for a seamless transition 🍎🍂🌲

For a layered look, here is my formula:
1. Start with a runner or table cloth to ground the space
2. Add texture - I love using woven charger plates or serving baskets/trays for this
3. Put out your favorite dinnerware set 🍽️
4. Add something organic — think flowers or greenery… I used eucalyptus garland here 🌿
5. Candles are a MUST! Sets the tone & adds warmth🕯️
6. Add decor — pumpkins & vintage collected items make the perfect pair
7. Use your fancy wine glasses! They always make a statement and compete the table 🍷

Enjoying Fall a bit longer than most on IG, but also brainstorming ideas for the holidays. Thinking about keeping this arrangement and color palette for my Christmas decorations in this room - what do you think?🍁🍂🤎🌲

I will be using what I have at home to decorate for the holidays + sprinkle in a few new/smaller items as I do each year. I personally don’t think it’s sustainable, from a financial standpoint, to buy a lot of new decor each year for each season - just my personal opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

This little no-demo reno totally helped to breathe some life and character into this bathroom! It used to be all gray and white (the millennial way 🤪), but now this space feels charming and elevated with the most perfect moody green paint color and the dreamiest wallpaper. Added a few brass touches with vintage-style frames and new wall plates to pull it all together—and I’m absolutely loving the vibe. Just goes to show, small changes can make a big difference! 💚

Btw, this space is small so it was very hard to shoot — I’ll be stretching until further notice 🤣

The moody green adds just the right amount of drama without overpowering the space, and the wallpaper brings visual interest that draws your eye up and makes the room feel taller. Add a few vintage pieces, mix
metal finishes, and these little details make a big difference!

And let’s talk function: the sliding shower doors are not only stylish but so convenient for washing the dogs—no lifting needed! 🐶🚿 This was a huge consideration for me since I have multiple chronic spine diseases and need to design spaces that support that.
