One of the most common interior design mistakes I often see ⬇️ Hanging art too high on the walls! I’m guilty of this as well prior to my interior design education. There’s something about growing up in the 80s/90s where it appears everyone’s goal was to hang art practically on the ceiling 😂 But that’s not cute so here is how to fix it ▪️Hang art at eye level, approximately 57”-60” from the ground to the center of the piece ▪️If you are hanging multiple pieces, follow the same rules but consider the center of the GROUP of frames ▪️Above furniture 6”-10” ✨Check stories for more examples! Personal suggestion: I hate using nails on my plaster walls so I really love these Command Universal Picture Hangers for lightweight art. I also like to use tack or museum putty on the bottom corners to keep the art level and in place LTKHome
