I’m a student of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and while I will NEVER tell you to buy everything, there are usually some great deals on quality pieces.

My top picks are:

Coats: whether it’s a winter coat or a trench coat, you can find great deals. The Barbour coat on sale this year looks similar to Burberry but is under $200.

Handbags: Nordstrom has some great handbags exclusive to the sale that you won’t find anywhere else.

Discounts on classic brands: Spanx has amazing pants and there are sneakers on sale cheaper than retail value.

Beauty items: I love getting a beauty deal and always find a perfume and get the Kiehls lotion every year.

Also if you don’t shop this sale the half yearly sale typically has the same items for around the same price. Some items may sell out, like some jeans I wanted but others may come back as a return. Happy shopping! #courthousecouture
