Happy New Year 🥳 !! Yeah, you read that right lol. Sometimes in life you need a hard reset. Normally that comes in January as everyone scrambles to set goals. Well, a few of my friends decided we’re not waiting to January to get our shit together. We’re starting TODAY, September 1st. So cheers to the new year. _ I have a bunch of stuff I want to work on so I’m posting them here (for everyone to see) so I can’t hide. 1. Getting my life and finances in order. I hired a financial planner to guide me and give me the hard facts that I needed to hear. As a single mom this is EXTREMELY important. If I get hit by a bus tomorrow I need to make sure @reesealvarado is taken care of. 2. I’m back in the gym. I’m committing to 3x a week (no matter what). Please hold me accountable and ask for proof. I don’t have a weight loss goal in mind (I’m actually happy where I am). I just want to tone and feel better. 3. Get back to creating content I enjoy. I became a content creator because I have so much knowledge to share but between sponsored posts and branded content I lost my voice. I’m getting back to the stuff that made you guys follow me in the first place (travel, family stuff, single parent life) etc. I also want to get to know YOU! So please say hello and don’t be surprised if you see me stalking your page and commenting more. I want to see what you’re up to. 4. Limiting things that consume my time. Guys I am/was a Facebook addict. I spend so much time scrolling, arguing with trump supporters that I had to stop. It was stressing me out. I’m giving up Facebook for 30 days not sure what I’ll do after 30 days but for now it’s gone.
