I don’t know about you, but our household income definitely took a hit when COVID struck, so we cut way back on our clothing purchases. This was unfortunate because the quarantine also caused me to gain a few pounds so hardly any of my clothes fit in a flattering or comfortable way. I finally caved and bought a few basic items from Old Navy. This striped tank and shirt combo is my current favorite. They’re comfortable, budget-friendly, and are a very flattering fit. Old Navy is having a big sale right now so I just ordered more tanks and shorts in different colors. Grab them on sale and thank me later! The top is the perfect combination of fitted and roomy. After six weeks of embracing a healthier lifestyle, I realized it was time to add more activewear to my closet. A few weeks ago I decided I was tired of feeling frustrated every time I looked at the scale and made some huge changes for a healthier lifestyle. I’ve been eating well and working out almost every day. I never in a million years would have thought I would decide to take better care of myself in the midst of the holiday season, but Christmas is different this year so I decided to roll with it and end 2020 on a healthy note.

I can’t believe how much our living room has changed since we moved in two years ago. Changes have been slow because we have a limited budget but I love how it’s all coming together. This farmhouse inspired, cozy space gives me all the feels and the prices on many of the details have been cheap and very budget-friendly - especially the rug! I decided to try something different with this month’s box review. I got a @trunkclub box and didn’t reject anything with a high price tag.
