Ballet flats should be comfortable, and elevated. Watch for the toe area - you want an elongated toe, almond shape toe, no toe cleavage.

I also really love the reformation ballet flats this season. The shape is absolutely stunning and the leather is butter soft. Size 5. These do stretch with wear.
